EURK is a euro stablecoin that is 1:1 pegged to EUR and built on the Ethereum blockchain. If you buy EURK and want to add EURK to your MetaMask wallet, you'll need to follow five simple steps.
In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of adding the EURK smart contract code to your MetaMask wallet.
First, open your MetaMask wallet. If you don't have one yet, you can download the MetaMask browser extension and create a new wallet in just a few minutes.
Once you have your MetaMask wallet open, you'll see a screen with your account balance and recent transactions. To add EURK to your MetaMask wallet, click on the "Import Tokens" button.
In the "Import Tokens" screen, you'll need to enter the details of the EURK token. For that part, you can “search” EURK directly or click “custom token” to add it manually.
In the Custom Token section, you will need to enter information about EURK manually. You need to fill out the token contract address first.
Example: 0xFA99E789aa0164a7Eac475f3eda666BE1d0669F2
After you copy and paste the token contract address, click the “Add custom token” button.
Here's what you'll need to enter below:
Token Contract Address: This is the unique code that identifies the EURK smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain. For example, 0xFA99E789aa0164a7Eac475f3eda666BE1d0669F2. You can find the EURK contract address on the EURK website or in the EURK whitepaper.
Token Symbol: This is the abbreviation for EURK.
Decimals of Precision: This is the number of decimal places used to represent EURK. For example, if EURK has six decimals of precision, you would enter "6" in this field.
On the next screen, you will see a summary of the token details you just entered. Review these details to make sure they're correct, then click on "Import Tokens" to add EURK to your MetaMask wallet.
Once you've added EURK to your MetaMask wallet, you'll be able to view your EURK balance alongside your other Ethereum-based assets.
To view your EURK balance, click on the back button "Accounts" in your MetaMask wallet, and you will be able to see your EURK asset on the portfolio site!
Adding EURK to your MetaMask wallet is a straightforward process that only takes a few minutes. By following the steps in this guide, you can easily view your EURK balance alongside your other assets in your MetaMask wallet.
